Young and the Restless fans know that Sharon is dying without her daughter. She’s hurt Mariah, even if her daughter wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about Tessa at the time. She was a woman who was not happy with the way things were going in her life, and she was caught off guard with her mother kidnapping her kind-of girlfriend and holding her hostage over a murder that they feel that she made sure it looked like Victor committed. For one, she cannot figure out what made her mother even want to work with these women she’s not exactly a fan of at the moment, and she’s wondering what is going on. But Sharon is a mess without Mariah. She’s her best friend, and she’s her voice of reason. What will she do now that she’s reached out to her? Will Mariah make the decision to forgive her mother, or does she simply need more time?
Watching Reed and Charlie fight over how to cover up the fact that they were in the car that ran over Nikki is a mess. It’s actually painful to watch these two young men and their situation as it unfolds, and we are reminded that they are a problem in so many ways. They are not going to find that their lives are easy for them in the moment, and we cannot help but wonder if they will have something else go down that causes them to get up getting caught. Or, will it be more likely that one of them ends up falling apart and making a big confession about it and what happened? We don’t even want to consider what might happen to these two young men if Nikki doesn’t make it. They can’t survive this at all, and that we are sure of.

Nick will do anything and everything to support his family, and he will swear to that. His family is a mess right now, and no one is feeling good about the future. His mother is lying in a coma unable to make any sense of what happened to her, and she is unaware that her husband is nowhere to be found. The family is a mess, and he will do anything he can to step up to the plate and protect everyone from what is going on in their lives. There is too much that they have to worry about right now, and he knows that. He knows that they have to make it through this one day at a time, and he will take over as the man of the family who will care for them, protect them, and make the difficult decisions for them. It’s what he can offer them in some way.
Sharon, on the other hand, is growing closer to Rey by the day. She’s not all that worried about Nick or about Rey’s wife, or about anything else that is going on in her life. She’s in a good place, and she’s allowing that to be her situation when it all comes down to it. There is so much there that will simply blow your mind, and we get that. Abby is still working on Arturo, and she’s going to get him to open up about a few things, and she feels that this is a win for her and their lives.
