Young and the Restless fans might think that there is nothing left to share when it comes to people coming back to share their stories in Genoa City, but you will be surprised just how many more people will show back up and make an appearance. If we had to pick something that works as a motto or a theme for this show for the entire year of 2019, it might just be the year of the return. All the people who left town, who died, and who we thought we might never see again have come, gone, and come back this year, and we might just be sitting here counting just how many are even left to show back up. While the return of Adam, Kevin, Chloe, Chelsea, and so many more might make it seem as if there are no more people who could even possibly show back up in Genoa City, you’d be surprised how many more faces you’re about to see as the year comes to a close.

Why are you all so surprised? It’s not like we don’t all know that this is a woman who will do anything and everything in her power not to retire. She is one who has said time and time again that she is done acting, she’s leaving television, and we will not see her again. However, she just loves this role as Ashley so much she cannot stay away for too long. We aren’t upset about that, though. We also love her, and we were hoping her retirement would work out like this — where she gets to spend her time doing what she wants in life while we get to see her show up in Genoa City and wreak havoc on a regular basis otherwise. We love it, and we love her.
The best news, fans, is that she’s returning this coming week. We don’t have to wait much longer to see more of her, and we are not mad about that. She’s a champ, and we cannot wait to see what she is back for, thought we have a feeling that she’s going to want to spend some time with Traci and Jack catching up on all that they have learned over the past few months of looking into their family’s history. They only just realized that Theo is their very own nephew thanks to the fact that their mother had a child with his father when she was not married, gave him up, and that’s his own situation. We know this is just beyond — Dina’s love life was a mess, after all.

We love her, and we hope she does come back. She is just as awful and evil and conniving as ever, and we love her endlessly for that. She’s one of the best of the best, and we cannot wait to see her return to the show. She is the lovely Gloria, who has always managed to find herself the time to fight for what she wants in nothing short of the dirtiest and most underhanded manner. She will go from Jack to Victor to their kids to everyone in between, and she will always say things that pit people against one another with a smile and an, “Oops,” before she giggles and moves on. She’s delightfully horrible, and we cannot even believe she’s been gone this long. The show has not been the same without her, so we are happy to see her come back and make a mess of things for so many.
Rumor has it that she’s going to be spending some time with her on-screen son, Christian, and that she will also be shooting some scenes with the lovely Chloe and Kevin. We think that this means she’s up to something no good since we all know for certain that Kevin and Chloe are up to a few things that are less than ideal. This makes us feel good about her return, and we hope that she can shed some light on things that we need answers about as quickly as possible. She’s fabulous, and we love her. Hopefully, she will be around for some time this time around.
