Young and the Restless fans know that some of the actors around here are going to come and go more than once. It happens all the time here, and the last few years have been a serious situation with that. It seems that people are here, then they are gone, and there is nothing we can do about that other than sit around and wonder if they will show back up at some point. We’ve seen a lot of them do just that in the past few months, and we are so excited that it appears that some people never change. On the flip side, it does appear that some people have changed, and not for the better — depending on what your definition of better really is. It’s not something we can do without mentioning it on one hand, but we do think that some of the men around here have really ramped their way up our list of favorite actors on the show, and we feel that it’s a disservice to them to sit here and ignore what they’ve done.

The man who spent years playing Kevin Fisher took off for a while and went to another show. He left because the love of his life whom he was set to marry one day was accused of some horrible things, and then she was gone. He went into hiding with her and their child, and we were not sure we would ever see them again. But, they are all back. He’s here, he is not going anywhere anytime soon, and we are loving everything he is bringing to the table as a result. He seems to have made it his mission in life to change the game for the best possible situation, and we love it. Gone is the nice guy. Gone is the man who is not going to stop until everyone loves him. Now he’s a bit dark, a bit edgy, and he’s definitely jaded. He’s not going to stop until he gets the revenge he’s been looking for, and we are big fans of it.

It appears that the new Adam is doing just a fine job of being the kind of man we all love to hate. He did come here with some serious business to attend to, and he is rocking it. We were not sure what to expect when he came back from the dead. He didn’t appear to be in the best health when he came back. He seemed like he might want to make amends for all the wrong he did. He seemed to want to find his family and love them and make them happy and be with them in a good manner, but that all changed after his surgery. He’s not that man anymore, and we love it. He is not the man who wants to do those things or live that life or be that person. He is the man who wants to make people miserable, do all the things wrong, and make everyone feel that he is what he is. He’s a rock star, and he’s embracing the evil in this role with everything he has. We are loving it.

Nick has always been the kind of man who might do anything for anyone, but he is the kind of man who likes to make people happy. He’s what you might call a people pleaser, and that is never a good thing. But, he’s changed a bit this year. He’s no longer looking out for himself or for his father’s approval so much as he is looking out for the greater good of his own family and what they mean to him. He’s taken some control, some power, and he’s making some changes. We love what he is doing, and we love watching him do it. It’s become something of a change we are entirely on board with, and that makes us feel good about what he has to plan for us in the future. He’s growing on us after years of not impressing us much with his doormat-like behavior. This might be it for him, if you ask us.
