Following Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to rock star Travis Barker, the world is on information overload. We’ve been inundated with wedding photos, well-wishes, and the subsequent health scare that sent Kourtney Kardashian’s husband to the emergency room. It’s been nothing but Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding overload since May 2022. In the land of Kardashian, however, information overload is the norm. However, with everything else going on, the world wants to know what Scott Disick, ex-boyfriend and baby daddy to all three Kardashians’ children, has to say about his ex and her wedding.
Did Scott Disick Attend the Kourtney Kardashian Wedding?
It’s a challenging situation. Do you invite the man you spent more than a decade with, even if it was off and on? He did father your three children, after all. At the end of the day, inviting an ex who fathered your kids to your wedding is a difficult decision, but it’s one Kourtney made peace with. She did invite Scott Disick to her wedding. The invitation was extended. After all, he had three kids involved in the wedding, and Disick and Kardashian have a long history. They never married, but they do share so much. They’re family in their own way.
Scott Disick did not, however, choose to attend the Kourtney Kardashian wedding. The famed reality star and Kardashian-adjacent family member did not speak out about his decision. People claiming to be close to Disick did speak anonymously to the press. These sources who claim to be close to Disick said that while he was invited to Kardashian’s wedding, his mental well-being did not allow him to attend.

“Kourtney extended an invite knowing Scott wouldn’t come. She wanted this huge moment to be about her and Travis and knew the dynamic wouldn’t be right having Scott there. It’s hard for Scott to see by since Kourtney and Travis have been celebrating their love for months, and it’s been easier for him to cope. It’s not as hurtful, and he’s getting through it,” said a source who claims to be close to Disick.
Did Scott Disick Have Anything to Say About the Kourtney Kardashian Wedding Before it Happened?
When Travis Barker asked Kourtney Kardashian to marry him, Scott Disick did react. The world saw his reaction when Khloe Kardashian – who has always been family to Scott – shared the news with her sister on their family reality show. She later took the time to visit Scott and talk to him about it.
“I mean, don’t get me wrong. I’ll always love your sister. So I wasn’t that caught off guard. I mean, I thought they had already been married the way she talked. So it wasn’t crazy. Thank God. Because in another time in my life, if I had heard that, it would have been over. Thank God. It does give me a lot of relief that she is happy,” is a portion of what Disick shared with Khloe.
The kids he shares with his ex were not involved in the proposal even though the rest of the family was. However, that was a decision that Kris Jenner made. She felt the kids were too young and probably wasn’t wrong. The youngest daughter of the two did have an adverse reaction. She wasn’t unhappy for her mother, but she didn’t know what that meant at her age. She thought her father was being replaced and her mother was being taken from her. Not being there at that moment likely removed a lot of potential fear from the situation.

All Seems Well Following the Kourtney Kardashian Wedding
It’s been a long time since Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have been together, but there was always that glimmer of hope that they might make it work. There was always that little voice in everyone’s mind that they might grow up together after so many years, so many ups and downs, so many moments, and three kids together. It did not work out for them, but we think Scott will be all right. He’s been dating off and on for years now – and he likes a younger woman – so there is always a chance he will move on and marry someone. We hope for nothing but the best for one of the best things from the Kardashian family’s fame. If you ask many people about which Kardashian family member is their favorite, they’ll say Khloe and then Scott Disick.
