The movie centered around Frank Hopkins in 1891, racing with his Mustang Hidalgo. Upon the request of the wealthy Sheikh Riyadh, Frank Hopkins journeyed to Arabia to race pure-bred Arabian horses and Bedouin/Arab riders.
