As we continue to count down to the premiere of a special return season to Twin Peaks, we’re finally beginning to see a tiny bit more about how the show might possibly play out. While we’re only getting bits and pieces it’s better than the pie billboards we were seeing earlier in the month. And now a new video for the inspiration of the original show has just come out. Its invovles none other than legendary actress Marilyn Monroe. According to Geek Tyrant
If you’re a big Twin Peaks fan you likely already know this, but if not be sure to watch this video! Essentially the story of Twin Peaks revolves around a former project in which Lynch started a project centered around the mystery behind the death of Marilyn Monroe. The project was dropped when no details regarding the mystery could be confirmed, and voila…Twin Peaks became a thing.
