Total Divas is Back: What to Expect from Season 7

Total Divas has continued to gain popularity as a reality television show. Many viewers are currently curious to know what will come after the second season of Total Bellas and news that Total Divas Season 7 will premiere on November 1st, 2017 is soothing to the ears of many fans of the show. WWE has released some sneaky information that should point to the things to expect in season 7 of the show. Here are few things gathered from different interviews that should give you a clue about what to expect.

Fill the vacuum

The timing of the Total Divas premiere is perfectly in sync with the end of Total Bellas season two. This means the show begins immediately at the time Total Bellas exits your screens. Viewers will this time continue to enjoy the fun as there is no vacuum created. Many viewers have always preferred such a setup all year to ensure there is content available from the two shows, and it seems WWE has heeded this call by scheduling the transition between the two shows in a manner that provides room for continued sharing of content.

New cast members?

A sneak peek into the cast suggests an interesting future. There are new cast members while others have lost their positions. Some of the new faces you should expect to see include Carmella, Nia Jax, and Alexa Bliss. This leaves viewers with the guessing as they would want to know how the inclusion of the said individuals will shape the show. According to the previews released featuring the new cast members, the show will definitely be something to look forward to. This might be one of the best decisions WWE ever made to improve the show.

However, there are few cast members who appeared in previous episodes that will miss on Season 7. Everyone understands that Nikki and Brie Bella will lead the cast as these have been the main cast since the inception of Total Divas, but apart from Natalya and the Bella twins, there will be only three other cast members who will remain. These include Lana, Naomi, and Maryse. Both Lana and Maryse joined in the last season while Naomi has appeared in the show since the first season. Apart from these who are going to remain, the rest have been dropped and their positions taken by the new members discussed above. It would be interesting to see how they will wear the roles played by their predecessors, so expect a lot of surprises.

There is information that one of the cast members who will be replaced is Paige, who has been a cast member for four consecutive seasons. She was suspended two times and some reports hint that she has injuries and thus cannot qualify to feature in Season 7. Additionally, she has been battling turmoil in the recent past as her relationship with Alberto Del Rio, a former WWE superstar, is not faring well. Eva Marie has also been excluded from the new season and it’s not clear if she’ll be back in the future and what roles she will play if it happens.
