General Hospital’s Most Famous Guest Stars

General Hospital fans have seen a famous face or two — besides the ones that are famous because they play the roles they play on television — on the show. There is a moment when you sit back and realize that the men and women who are on the show right now aren’t the only famous faces who have been on here. Some of the most famous faces in the entire world got their start here, had a small role here and there, or even make a guest appearance or cameo on this show. And it’s been one of the most amazing things. Are you ready to find out some of the seriously famous people who had a role on GH that you might not even remember?

Mark Hamill

He’s one of the most famous men in the Hollywood business today, but he was also a character for almost two years on GH. He was the nephew of a nurse back in the very early 70s, and no one was going to predict that this man would one day go on to play the role of Luke Skywalker in one of the most famous movie franchises of all time. It’s amazing what he’s managed to accomplish, and we are pretty certain he cannot get past this if he wanted to.

Elizabeth Taylor

You cannot argue she is one of the most famous women in the world, and she actually spent some time in 1981 playing one of the most famous women on the show. She as the matriarch of the Cassadine family for some time, and she was the face of Helena. What a perfect role for her, too. She got to be the meanest, most manipulative, most hated woman on the show, and she was nothing short of fabulous in the role when it was handed to her.

Amber Tamblyn

If you think back long and hard about this famous face, you’ll remember her when she was on the show in the mid to late 90s. She was the younger sister to Jason, the one who was tragically killed. She was Emily, and we all kind of remember her from the role when we look back and remember seeing a part or two when our moms were watching their shows in the afternoons. She was on the show for three years, left, and then she became a huge movie star with some of the most famous friends in Hollywood. It all works out, doesn’t it?

John Stamos

Before he was Uncle Jesse — his most famous role, Have Mercy — he was Blackie Parrish. He was the foster child of Lesley and Rick, and he was a totally bad you-know-what. He spent two years on the show in the early 80s, and he’s been back a time or two since. He doesn’t forget his roots or the fact that he is someone who got his big break a few years later thanks to all the amazing smaller roles he had before this one. He is still one of the most famous faces to ever grace the screen here.

Demi Moore

Do we think it’s a coincidence she spent the same two years on the show as fellow famous actor John Stamos? We don’t, but they did. She was Jackie Templeton. She was a reporter, and she made it her business to fall for Robert Scorpio. We all know he was a man who was very taken throughout the years by some of the most major characters, but her smaller character fell for him regardless. And now she’s one of the most famous faces in the world, she’s been married to some of the most famous men in the world, and she has some seriously famous kids, too.

Ricky Martin

The famous singer was once the man who got into some serious drama with Sonny when they couldn’t figure out who was a baby daddy to a child. He was the character Miguel Morez back in 1994 and 1995. He was almost already famous at the time as a famous pop singer, but he needed just a few more years before he became the singer we knew, loved, and heard all the time on the radio.
