This was followed by health issues. His recovery included the release of his album “Muffin,” which is his solo debut. “That’s Not Us” (2015)
Xander Singh composed the score for this timely movie about three couples who turn out to be six friends with a combination of gay, lesbian and straight people who go out for the time of their lives. All are in their twenties and none of them expect what is coming on their trip. Instead of simply having a great time, each of them end up pondering their own lives and relationships in the context of their sexual orientations. The plot focuses on the fact that people may have differences in sexual preferences, but the struggles that they fact in making their relationships wor are all similar. The music score is brilliant and adds to the intended emotion that is presented in each scene. One of Xander’s finest achievements in movie score.
“The Ring Thing” (2017)
Singh is the genius behind the wonderful music score for this moving film. The focus is upon a lesbian couple and when Sarah finds a ring in the sand, she gives it to her girlfriend to see. Kristen mistakenly thinks that it’s a proposal, but this is not Sarah’s intention at all. Sarah is a filmmaker who is working on a documentary of same sex couples. Although Kristen is ready for marriage, Sarah isn’t quite there yet. Singh’s contributions to the film are brilliant as always. There is so much emotion in his work and if you know his backstory, it isn’t difficult to realize that he draws inspiration from his own feelings and emotional turmoil
“Silicon Cowboys” (2016) – Ian Hultquist Composed, Xander Contributed
Singh helped to write the score for this history documentary film. It is the journey of three friends who become the co-creators of the Compaq portable computer. The events occur in 1981 and the setting is a diner located somewhere in Texas. Upon completion of their project, the trio encounters one of the biggest battles of their lives as IBM is not about to give up its top rating in the PC industry. Thanks to these men, the electronics and computing industry was forever changed.

“My Blind Brother” (2016) – Ian Hultquist Composed, Xander Contributed
Singh not only helped to write the score for “My Blind Brother,” but he also served as musician and vocalist. The film tells the story of Robbie who is a blind athlete who has achieved celebrity status despite the fact that his sight is gone. He has been assisted by his brother Bill who has stuck by his side throughout the years. When Bill falls for a girl named rose, she is more attracted to his brother and the two get together. He faces the struggle of whether to put himself above his brother or to take the higher road and wish them well together.

The movie “Clinical” is a psychological thriller that features some out of this world synth programming and we have Xander Singh to thank for this. The movie tells the story of a psychiatrist who undergoes an immensely traumatic event. She has a difficult time putting her life together. When she returns to practice, her new patient has a horrifying history of his own.
