Arrow is back with a new episode on The CW tonight. Prometheus goes to great lengths to break Oliver. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Anatoly becomes worried about Oliver’s increasingly violent tendencies, which come to a head in a brutal confrontation. According to a recent Collider interview here’s what Amell had to say about Prometheus changing Oliver:
Yeah. What Prometheus does to Oliver is really unlike anything that we’ve ever seen happen to him. It’s almost like Prometheus is his therapist, in this weird way. He’s a sociopath and he’s doing horrible things to him, but in his mind, he’s doing it in the pursuit of a greater good, which is really scary. It’s really scary when there’s a villain whose end goal might not be killing you.
I couldn’t agree with Amell more here. It’s always creepier when a villain is “closer” to the hero than being his enemy in many respects. Tonight’s episode may very well prove just how messed up their relationship is.
But before we inch closer to this evening I figured I’d have a little fun and share some of Stephen Amell’s best tweets of the week. Of all our Superheroes on television Amell by far has one of the most entertaining social media profiles. I personally think his birthday wish to Barrowman is the best but these are all pretty solid.

Time away from kids
At the risk of being hyperbolic, spending time apart from my kid is getting 800% tougher on a weekly basis.

Sorry this is a little longer than a week but Amell’s got a great sense of humor.
