Tom Brady’s “Friday Night Lights” Hype Video is Awesome

While the nation gets pumped for the Super Bowl (and its commercials and halftime show) to air tomorrow, what are players doing to get themselves psyched? Turns out that only a day ago the most popular player in the game, Tom Brady, let the Facebook world know exactly how he was getting amped up for the game.  He shared a little edited video that mimics the movie “Friday Night Lights.”  Those who have seen the movie know that the scene right before the final game is awesome.   When those players are coming out of the tunnels and the music hits, it’s bedlam.  Honestly it’s that song “New Noise” by Refused that does it.  Amazing.

If you pair that song with any scene of football players getting pumped up, it’s pefection.  Obviously Tommy Terrific is doing his thing to get his super QB on.  Other players are, I’m sure, doing whatever they can to get the motivational juices flowing.

Check out Brady’s selection below:

Remember this speech?

Being perfect is about being able to look your friends in the eye and know that you didn’t let them down because you told them the truth. And that truth is you did everything you could. There wasn’t one more thing you could’ve done. Can you live in that moment as best you can, with clear eyes, and love in your heart, with joy in your heart? If you can do that gentleman, you’re perfect.
