This is no joke, there is a Game of Thrones-themed hotel in Finland that is made entirely of ice and features White Walker and even more. It’s about an hour and a half flight from Helsinki and is a reasonable $200 per night. That might seem steep to some but considering that this place has been built for the past 17 years, not always with the Game of Thrones them obviously, people have found it quite an interesting spot to visit. The Game of Thrones theme is sure to draw people in as Game of Thrones has a deal with HBO Nordic to make this possible. Some of the rooms might seem a little chilly, since the sleeping conditions are around -2 to -5 on a pretty constant basis. It’s a place that you definitely want to bring your parka and warmer clothing unless you happen to like playing the part of a wight or a White Walker. The place is literally made out of ice and packed snow, complete with thirty rooms, a bar, a restaurant, and even a chapel. It’s for real and can be visited and stayed in.
I don’t know about staying in a room with the sculpture of a White Walker looming over the bed, I might not get a wink of sleep.

Of course if you don’t like sleeping with a huge White Walker looming over you then there’s always the room that features the wall of faces courtesy of the Faceless God, which might be even creepier if you really think about it. A room with the map of Westeros might be cool since it would give you a better understanding of just how much of the world of GoT is at stake this coming season. Don’t forget the Night King has breached the wall after all, and is coming for the Seven Kingdoms, we think.

There’s nothing quite like having an ice dragon looming close as you warm yourself with the pleasing cocktails and spirits that are offered at the bar. This might actually be one of the favorite spots of most guests since it might be the one that keeps you the warmest. I can just imagine hearing people’s teeth chatter as they walked around this place, doing their best to stay warm.

If you fancy a chance at the iron throne this would be your best chance, but take care not to stick to it or damage it since the staff and the Mountain standing nearby might not take too kindly to it. There’s a lot of work that goes into the creation of this hotel, and the intricate details are definitely to be respected.
This would be worth the trip no matter what it cost since the experience would be absolutely awesome. It might be one of the only times you need to think about sleeping in full clothing however since I doubt they kick on the heaters during your stay. The hotel is open until April, as I would imagine that the weather starts to warm up and tends to make things a tad bit unsafe.

Yeah, imagine waking up to that in the morning. Yikes.
