Interestingly enough, he actually originally wanted to write the movie, but since it was too late to add an extra writer to the crew, he asked to at least get a part in the movie. He said, “I think I just liked how it reminded me of the characters on “The Office.” Stanley’s kind of Grouchy Smurf, and Jim’s kind of Jokey Smurf. Michael is Papa Smurf, which I think he even said in an episode once. I like the idea of everyone being a type.”
16. Arthur
While we’re on the topic of voice work, here’s another similar project in Novak’s portfolio. It’s an animated show based on the book by Marc Brown called Arthur. Novak voiced Mike ‘MC’ Cramp in one episode of the series.
17. Punk’d
