The Supernatural Winter Premiere Trailer Looks Fantastic

It’s hard to believe that Supernatural is in its 12th season and got renewed for a 13th.  When you look at the history of television shows, Supernatural is in very rare company for having lasted as long as it has.  And if its any indication, the winter premiere trailer “See No Evil” proves that the show has no signs of slowing down.  The CW series’ winter premiere (Thursday, Jan. 26, now at 8/7c) makes a compelling case for why the Winchesters are essential to humanity’s survival.

According to TVline

As we see foreboding snippets of Dean, Sam and their mom Mary – that “I love you” followed by a gunshot can’t be good – Cas’ voice declares, “This sad, doomed little world, it needs you. It needs every last Winchester, and I will not let you die. I won’t let any of you die.”  Even Crowley, the former King of Hell, supports the brothers’ worth: “I admit they don’t sound like much, but every Armageddon… the Winchesters stopped it. Like it or not, they’re an asset we can’t afford to lose.”

Clearly we’ve got a lot of questions that need to be answered but stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles appear to be having more fun on this show than ever.   And why shouldn’t they?  They’ve starred in 255 episodes of the CW hit and something tells me they won’t stop until they hit 300.    Will the Winchesters have to stop another Armageddon this season?  The trailer certainly makes it seem so but we’ll all have to tune it to find out.  Check out some choice photos from season 12 below:
