Here’s What ‘Suicide Squad’ Needs to Succeed

I’m not saying that Suicide Squad should draw inspiration from Marvel (I truly believe that the two universes should look and feel as unique as possible), but one thing that the film does need to do is use its team to its advantage. Since 2012, audiences have loved the team aspect of superheroics (as you can see from the massive successes of The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy), and it’s time for a DC film to play to this strength. The cast that’s been assembled for Suicide Squad is abnormally strong, and the film should use this to its advantage in every way possible.
