Stephen Colbert has been hosting The Late Show live from the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia since the event kicked off this Monday, and during the late night show last night, he took some time to speak to a very special guest: Cartoon Hillary Clinton. Yes, last night Senator Cartoon Clinton made her first appearance on The Late Show to celebrate her officially becoming the Democratic Party’s nominee for president, and Colbert made it a point to find out just who the real Hillary Clinton was during their time together. The answer? Well, I don’t think we really got one, but it sure is fun to watch.
In the video below, Colbert asks Cartoon Clinton a series of questions, all of which she claims to be “wonderful” or “powerful” questions. In fact, Cartoon Clinton even calls one inquiry that she receives from a Republican voter “the best question in all of human history.”
Additionally, Colbert and Cartoon Clinton discuss the topic of Senator Bernie Sanders, who has officially accepted and endorsed Clinton as the nominee. Cartoon Clinton reveals just how close the two of them are, saying that “Bernie Sanders is a great friend and has been for days now.”
“Stephen, Bernie likes to tell it like it is, which is also what I do when I’m alone and no one is watching,” she explains to Colbert.
To find out more information about Cartoon Hillary Clinton and to see her give Stephen Colbert the most awkward high-five in the history of high-fives, check out the rest of the interview from last night’s Late Show below:
