There will always be a special place in my heart for anything 8-Bit. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels these way. Over the past couple of years, the internet has seen a major surge in the creation of 8-bit clips. Sometimes current video games will get the 8-Bit treatment. Other times it’s a movie or a television show that will get an 8-bit makeover. It also used to be only one or two outlets who specialized in making these videos but now you can find them almost anywhere.
One outlet who is rising in the 8-Bit video ranks is entertainment site Joblo. They have a series called “8-bit trailers” which takes existing movie trailers and turns them into 8-bit styled trailers reminiscent of all of our favorite video games on NES.
This time out Joblo heads to a galaxy far, far away with the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi from director Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and Benicio Del Toro.
Check out the quality clip from Joblo below:
And of course here’s the real trailer.
