There is nothing that can compare to the relationship between parents and children. After all, what could be a greater source of pride than knowing that you were part of bringing a new life in the world? When most children are born, their parents vow to love and protect them forever, but for some people, that promise gets put to the test. General Hospital spoilers have revealed that Jake and Jason’s relationship is going to hit yet another bump in the road as a result of Jake’s crazy temper. Now that Jason has finally remembered his feelings for Sam, he is trying to build a new relationship with her. When he tells Jake that he has chosen to be with Sam instead of Liz, it’s going to send the kid into a tailspin. Watching your parents break up is hard for anyone, but Jake’s lack of coping skills will make this even more difficult for him. Although Jason has no intentions of walking out of his son’s life, it’s still a tough pill to swallow. Jake didn’t just want a relationship with his father, he wanted his family to be together. He has made it very clear in the past that he won’t stand for anything that stands in the way of the vision he has for his parents, and now it looks like he’s going to make sure once and for all that everyone knows he’s serious.

Jake is going to set up a trap that will put Sam in grave danger, and he hopes that with Sam out of the way things will get back to ‘normal.’ Little does he know, his dad isn’t going to let anything happen to Sam, and he’s going to come to her rescue. Jason loves his son, but this could be the final straw. Plus, Jake’s behavior may actually end up driving a wedge between his parents. Although Jake is his own person, there’s no doubt that his terrible temper reflects poorly on his parents, especially Sam. Since it’s clear that Liz doesn’t like Sam either, it’s only a matter of time before it starts to look like Liz is supporting her son’s violent behavior. On top of that, Jason’s love for his son could blind him from seeing the truth all together. It will be much easier for him to believe that Liz had something to do with Sam’s accident than it will be for him to accept the fact that his son has some serious issues. Although things were looking up for Jason when he started getting his memory back, it’s become obvious that nothing is his life can go smoothly.
Other spoilers have shown that the mob in Port Charles is also dealing with some drama. Anna has been trying to dig up some dirt on Paul for a while now, and she’s making some serious progress. Of course, Paul will do what most people do when they find themselves on the brink of caught red-handed, he’s going to freak out. You would think that people who have made careers out of crime would be able to deal with the consequences a little better, but obviously none of these people think they will ever get caught. Plus, as a DA, Paul thinks he knows how to get away with everything. He’s definitely in for a very rude — and much deserved — awakening. Paul will try to get himself out of the situation by placing the blame on Ava, but that’s not really going to work. He might think he’s helping himself out, but he may just be setting himself up to get caught in the future.
As things continue to heat up for many people in Port Charles, it’s going to be interesting to see how things end up. There are a lot of questions that will be answered in the upcoming episodes, but of course, as one question is answered, another will be presented.
