Animated comedy is about to reach new levels if the new Rick and Morty season 3 opening scene is any indication. Rick and Morty has been a phenomenal staple to Adult Swim for the last 2 seasons and it appears that season 3 just might be setting a new bar for viewers. If you’ve ever seen Rick and Morty then the photo above might give you some clues as to what could happen. If you’ve ever seen the show then it’s perfectly understandable to be confused. However, there’s plenty out there on the show and you can easily get caught up in a matter of days.
Just in case you’re not familiar with Rick and Morty, here’s a quick rundown:
After having been missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez suddenly arrives at daughter Beth’s doorstep to move in with her and her family. Although Beth welcomes Rick into her home, her husband, Jerry, isn’t as happy about the family reunion. Jerry is concerned about Rick, a sociopathic scientist, using the garage as his personal laboratory. In the lab, Rick works on a number of sci-fi gadgets, some of which could be considered dangerous. But that’s not all Rick does that concerns Jerry. He also goes on adventures across the universe that often involve his grandchildren, Morty and Summer.
Also if you need some proof to give this show a shot, it has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yes, 100%. It also has a 9.3 on IMDB which is unheard of. Here’s the season 3 clip:
