The 13th season of “The Bachelorette” left us with a list of 31 possible contenders for the hand of Rachel Lindsay. She has confirmed that she is now engaged and one of the lucky guys has been selected over the rest of the herd to slip the ring on her finger. The question still remains…Who is Rachel Lindsay engaged to? Here are our five best guesses and the reasons why we believe it has to be one of them.
The facts
Rachel is an attorney and she has a no-nonsense attitude so we’re expecting that her perfect match will have a similar background. She isn’t the type of woman to be corralled by a man who is not accepting of her strong will and demand to maintain her professions. Her hopeful suitors completed a questionnaire which will give us some insight into who she may have discarded as she whittled down the collection into the top five contenders. We’re predicting that her choice will be professional, a go-getter, successful at what they do and comfortable with who they are. Here are our best 5 guesses.
1. Mohit
Mohit’s responses are in line with what Rachel is looking for in her life right now. He has similar tastes in music, and is looking for a lifelong commitment complete with a family. Like Rachel, he also feels that family approval is important for having a healthy and strong family life. This makes him one of the top contenders with regard to compatibility.
2. Anthony
Anthony is younger than than Rachel by 6 years, but he has made impressive progress in his career. His receipt of the Fulbright Grant for teaching in the Ivory Coast as well as his teaching assignment in Indonesia add to his curriculum vitae. He enjoys intellectual conversation and this is something that we know Rachel is capable of, but is all of this enough?
3. Bryan
Bryan is among the oldest of the contenders that we chose. He is thirty something and his career as a chiropractor lands him firmly in the class of having a good job. He has a heart for people who are not as fortunate and is charitable. He also is interested in starting a family. All of these attributes makes him sound like a good match for Rachel.
4. Fred
Fred is highly educated with two Master’s level degrees. From his responses, we gather that he values family relationships. He shares the same favorite artist with Rachel, which is another plus and he definitely exhibits a lot of drive in his pursuit of success. We’re not quite sure if this is enough to make Rachel fall head over heels, but it’s a start in the right direction.
5. Josiah
We saved Josiah for last because of all of the contenders, he appears to be in our number one guess for the most likely suitor to win Rachel’s affections. He, like Rachel is an attorney. This gives them a deep understanding of what it is to live with a professional in this field. Another similarity which is a bit on the profound side is that he has a Bible verse tattoo and so does she.
Final thoughts
Rachel has already made her choice and is very happily engaged. The only problem is we don’t know yet who she has chosen to be her partner. The revelation is soon to come so it won’t be long until we find out if our guesses were even close. Until then, we’ll stay tuned with fingers crossed.
