Isn’t it amazing how we’re barely talking about James Comey anymore? I mean yeah, I know there’s now Robert Mueller apparently handling all of it but I just find it funny how in this current administration we move from one topic to the next as if they are television programs that mean nothing. The whole Comey thing lasted like 4 days and the most recent “news” from the White House is how Melania Trump keeps trying to avoid holding Donald Trump’s hand. Apparently they were holding hands today and I’m guessing Melania got a serious talking to from Donald before the moment finally occurred.
So now that we’ll be off of Melania Trump, let’s get onto Donald Trump meeting Pope Francis for the first time. As many of us know, Pope Francis is pretty progressive and a very far cry from traditional Catholicism. He’s been known to be highly sympathetic to the LBGTQ community as well as outspoken on a number of “scientific” issues like climate change. With regard to climate change he 100% believes in it, unlike out current administration who are a bunch of theoretical morons.
But Pope Francis pulled a great move in his first meeting with the President of the United States. As they exchanged gifts as is customary in a first meeting, Francis wasn’t even remotely subtle at all as he handed Trump a climate change encyclical. Check out the moment below:
