PewDiePie Dropped from Youtube after Anti-Semitic Slogan Prank

The only way you wouldn’t know who PewDiePie is if you weren’t on the internet ever.  He’s by far the biggest name on Youtube and his channel became the most subscribed on the entire video network.  PewDiePie is a Swedish born video game critic who became well known after critiquing video games in the middle of playing them.  His snarky commentary got him a huge following and he’s made millions in the process.  In fact he even got his own reality show with Google.  However, PewDiePie took things one step too far and it appears his life will be in shambles very shortly.   According to Variety

Google’s YouTube has canceled the second season of PewDiePie’s reality show and pulled his channel from its premium advertising program after the Swedish-born vlogger’s prank involving an anti-Semitic slogan gained widespread notice. The announcement from YouTube came just hours after Disney’s Maker Studios said it was terminating its relationship with PewDiePie, whose actual name is Felix Kjellberg, over the same videos.

Last month PewDiePie, YouTube’s most-subscribed channel with more than 53 million followers, posted several videos detailing a stunt in which he paid two shirtless Indian men to make a video holding up a sign that said “Death to All Jews.”

Nicely done Felix.  Way to show your true colors buddy.  Was it worth it?  Want to be an anti-semitic moron in private?  I suppose that’s your business but you should never mess with the big G. I really hope this guy vanishes.  The thing that stinks here is that he’s not fully banned from Youtube.  His channel is still up, he just can’t make money anymore off of the videos that were in question.  We’re still stuck with Felix but hopefully this news chops his subscriber base.
