It has been over four years since the drama Nip Tuck aired its final episode on March 3, 2012, which would also be the show’s 100th episode. Ryan Murphy was the brains behind the drama that premiered on July 22, 2003 and it was one of his first television projects (the first being Popular which ran from 1999-2001 on the WB). He found go on to create such popular shows as Glee and American Horror Story. Nip Tuck would pave the way for other in demnad “adult” shows on the FX Network including It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia  and Sons of Anarchy. Since the show left the air, the cast has remained quite busy starring on both the small and big screen. Here is a look at what your favorite Nip Tuck stars have been up to since 2010.

Julian McMahon as Dr. Christian Troy

Julian McMahon spent six season playing the womanizing playboy Dr. Christian Troy. His character became a dad, bedded more women then anyone could count, and suffered from breast cancer. During his time on the series, McMahon starred as Dr. Doom in both of the Fantastic Four films. His first project once Nip Tuck ended was the popular action comedy RED, which also starred Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, and Helen Mirren. McMahon played Robert Stanton. In 2011, he starred in the horror movie Faces in the Crowd with Milla Jovovich. McMahon was quite busy in 2012. He starred in the TV Movie Rogue with Angela Bassett and the films Fire with Fire and Bait. McMahon would return to television in 2013 when he appeared in three episodes of the drama Full Circle. In 2016, McMahon will appear in the Australian Western Justice is a Smoking Gun.

Dylan Walsh as Dr. Sean McNamara

Dylan Walsh’s career began in the late 80’s and he starred in two television shows as well as appeared on many series before starring as Dr. Sean McNamara on Nip Tuck in 2003. While on the show, Walsh appeared in the 2009 film The Stepfather with Penn Badgley and a memorable episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Walsh’s first project following the conclusion of Nip Tuck was the film Secretariat, which also starred Diane Lane. Walsh would guest star in many popular television series including Revenge, Castle, and CSI. Walsh has also spent the last three television seasons playing Al Burns on the CBS crime drama Unforgettable. In October 2014, it was revealed that the drama had been cancelled for a second time. The show was originally cancelled after one season, but was brought back as a summer show. Walsh will also be starring in a 2015 episode of the series Motive.

Joely Richardson as Julia McNamara

Joely Richardson experienced some heart ache towards the end of Nip Tuck‘s run. Her sister Natasha Richardson died from a head injury while she was skiing in Canada. Richardson was not the only cast member touched by the death. Her mother Vanessa Redgrave also appeared on Nip Tuck as Julia’s mother. After Nip Tuck ended, Richardson starred in five 2010 episodes of The Tudors as Catherine Parr. She would also appear in the films The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Thanks for Sharing, Endless Love, and Vampire Academy. She has four films scheduled to come out in 2015. Richardson is rumored to be starring in the sequel to the 2009 hit movie Avatar.

John Hensley as Matt McNamara

John Hensley was 25 years old when he began appearing on Nip Tuck. The character he was playing was only in high school at the beginning of the series. During his time on Nip Tuck, Hensley would play a teenager once again in the comedy horror film Teeth. Hensely would stick with the horror genre once Nip Tuck concluded in 2010. He would appear in the 2011 movie Hostel: Part III with Revenge’s Brian Hallisay. Hensely would continue to appear on television in guest starring roles on Longmire, Sons of Anarchy, and The Mentalist. He is currently filming the horror film Restraint, which is due to hit theaters in 2015.

Roma Maffia as Liz Cruz

Roma Maffia spent six seasons playing Dr. Liz Cruz the dedicated anesthesiologist who worked for McNamara/Troy and later even marrying Dr. Troy despite being a lesbian. Following the conclusion of Nip Tuck, Maffia would guest star on many different television series including Medium, Off the Map, and Harry’s Law. In 2012, Maffia would begin appearing on Grey’s Anatomy as Roberta Thompson. She was a board member at Seattle Grace that sat in on the interviews dealing with the plane crash that killed Lexie and Mark. She is currently starring on the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars as Linda Tanner. She will appear in the 2015 drama Safelight, which stars American Horror Story’s Evan Peters.

Kelly Carlson as Kimber Henry

Aside from a very small part in the 2001 film 3000 Miles to Graceland, Kelly Carlson’s role as Kimber Henry on Nip Tuck was her very first role. Kimber would take her own life during the sixth season of the show, but would appear a few more times in dream sequences. During the final season of Nip Tuck, Carlson also made several appearances on the short lived reboot of Melrose Place. She has continued to appear on television in guest starring role on Supernatural, Castle, The Finder, and Ghostfacers.

Jessalyn Gilsig as Gina Russo

Jessalyn Gilsig would appear on 17 episodes on Nip Tuck between 2003-2008, before she fell to her death from a rooftop while she and Christian were hooking up. Gilsig would move on from Nip Tuck to appear on Ryan Murphy’s new project Glee. She would play Terri Schuester between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, she appeared on 10 episodes of the NBC drama Heroes. She would also be featured in the 2009 film The Stepfather with her Nip Tuck co-star Dylan Walsh. Gilsig has guest starred on The Good Wife and Harry’s Law. She is currently starring in the drama Vikings that airs on the History Channel.
