Let the Harry Potter revival rumors start to fly! Despite stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson moving on from Harry Potter into their own successful careers, Radcliffe admitted recently that if there were talks about a Harry Potter revival he would of course consider it. While I have no idea what Rupert Grint is up to I have a sneaky suspicion that he would actually pay the franchise to reprise his role. As far as Watson, there’s no word from her.
According to The Telegraph, Radcliffe discussed his possible reprisal of The Boy Who Lived on “Good Morning Britain” Wednesday.
“Oh, I don’t know. I’m not sure,” the actor said. “That’s a long way off, isn’t it? Harry’s a bit older. I really don’t know, I think that’s all highly theoretical talk. If it was to become more than theoretical I would, of course, think about it.” J.K. Rowling has since said on Twitter that there are no plans for making “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” into a movie trilogy.
“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is packing theaters in London but there are no words if it’ll hit the states (is has to right?). Audiences have embraced Potter as an adult in this but as far as this hitting the big screen? For now it’s unlikely but there’s just no way you can ever say never. Not with something this big.
If American Idol is coming back to NBC, don’t count out another installment of Harry Potter movies. P.S. OF COURSE Radcliffe says he’s consider. No chance in the world he’s turn down a reprise of that role. Zero chance.
