Minnesota’s Jordan Murphy Posterizes C.J. Getty With Massive Dunk

One of the bigger college hoops games of the weekend was Rutgers and Minnesota.   And if there’s one highlight to take from professional or collegiate sports it’s this slam dunk.  Jordan Murphy is a 6’7 sophomore.  CJ Gettys is a 7’0 transfer who coach Kmarko fell in love with last year heading into the NCAA Tournament when Gettys was at UNC Wilmington.  Murphy is dribbling down court heading into the lane and Gettys is waiting for him in the circle preparing to take a charge.

Obviously it didn’t work out very well for him.  When you’re a seven footer taking a charge doesn’t go over too well with the refs.  Instead, they’d rather see the 6’7 guy jump right over you, dunk it as hard as they possibly can, and hit the microphone near the rim because this dunk make an incredibly loud noise on TV.

No, it’s not Vince Carter dunking over the entire country of France in the Olympics (nothing will ever beat that) but this dunk is filthy.  Plain and simple.  Check it out below:
