When people start new relationships, they always hope that all of the people close to them will be happy. Unfortunately, however, that isn’t realistic for a lot of people. This is something Lesley Cook has learned first-hand since her relationship with David Beador began. Beador is best-known for being the ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Orange County star, Shannon Beador. After Shannon and David parted ways, he and Lesley began dating and this started to move pretty quickly. Lesley and David announced they were expecting a child together in 2020 and tied the knot that same year. Although newlywed life is often associated with bliss, Lesley and David have found themselves having to deal with lots of negativity from the outside world. 1. She’s Been Involved In Some Drama
Shannon has only been in the spotlight for the last couple of years, but sadly all of the attention she’s gotten hasn’t been positive. In 2019, she got a lot of flack after a video surfaced of her being rude to an employee at a local Walmart. In the video, she also commented that she was living in a $15 million house. This incident upset her then fiance, David, who was going through his divorce proceedings at the time. He felt that discussing his finances in public simply wasn’t a good look for his case.
2. Her Instagram Profile Is Private
Since her relationship with David began, there have been lots of people who have been interested in knowing more about Lesly. Unfortunately for those people, getting information about her isn’t as simple as scrolling through her social media profile. While she does have an account on Instagram, it is currently set to private.
3. She Likes To Cook
Lesley may not be a Real Housewives cast member, but it looks like she’s living the life of a real housewife. She seems to enjoy the more domestic side of life and she enjoys spending time in the kitchen and preparing meals and desserts for her loved ones.
4. She Doesn’t Appear To Have Any Interest In Reality TV
From what we can tell, Lesley doesn’t have any have any experience in the entertainment industry or any desire to become a reality TV star. With that being said, however, it wouldn’t be too surprising if the opportunity did arise for her to take on some sort of reality TV role.
5. She Denies That She And David Had An Affair
When news broke that Lesley and David were an item, people couldn’t help but speculate that the two had been having an affair since before Shannon and David split. Lesley, however, has always insisted that she and David did not have a relationship prior to he and Shannon’s breakup.

David and Lesley welcomed their first child together in February of 2021, but this wasn’t Lesley’s first child. She has a son and a daughter from her previous relationship to a man named Erik. Lesley, however, has been very serious about protecting the privacy of her other two children.

As if here weren’t already enough things people could say about David and Lesley’s relationship, their significant age gap has given people something else to talk about. David is currently 56-years-old while Lesley’s is only 37. As you can imagine, lots of people have made the assumption that this relationship is part of a mid-life crisis for David.
8. She Accused Shannon Of Harassment
Divorce and remarriage are always sensitive subjects and Lesley’s situation is no exception. Sadly, she and Shannon don’t have the best relationship and Lesley has gone as far as to say that Shannon has been harassing her. Lesley also insinuated that she has some tea on Shannon that could share, but has chosen not to.
9. She Loves Crafts
Lesley is a very creative person and she enjoys getting the chance to share her skills. She is particularly interested in DIY projects and making flowers out of paper. In 2016, she even started a YouTube channel where she shared videos of her homemade crafts. She also had a corresponding Instagram account but it has since been deleted.
10. She’s A Private Person Overall
Lesley’s social media account isn’t the only thing about her that’s private. In general, she doesn’t appear to be interested in sharing much information about her personal life. In fact, outside of her relationship with David, there really isn’t much information about her on the internet.
