Andrew Wiggins did his absolute best job to prove to Lebron James that trading him out of Cleveland was a colossal mistake. Wiggins scored 41 points in a great effort despite his Timberwolves losing to the Cavs 116-108 last night. But if there’s one guy that can make a player look dumb even though he drops 41 on you it’s Lebron James. In a stunning assist to newly acquired Derrick Williams, Lebron James threads the needle with a perfect no look pass to Williams that goes right through the legs of Wiggins.
Wiggins just stood there looking foolish as anyone else would. Wiggins is clearly a rising star. Even Lebron James will tell you that. But no one can lay claim to being the greatest players in the world until Lebron James says so. P.S. how happy can Derrick Williams possibly be right now? The guy was a #2 overall draft pick. Total bust. Played on the disorganized Knicks. Was expected to bring some flare to the Heat. That doesn’t work out.
