The season finale of Kourtney & Kim Take New York was chock full of romance for the sisters…well, almost. Kim begins dating New Jersey Net Kris Humphries, but Scott’s plan to propose to Kourtney takes an unexpected turn.
Scott and Kourtney realize that although they’ve been together for years, they don’t really have their own anniversary date because of their ups and downs. Scott suggests they plan a fancy dinner for the upcoming weekend and set that date as their anniversary.
Scott wants to buy Kourtney jewelry for an anniversary gift and enlists Kim’s help. Who better? At the jewelry shop, Scott sees a huge yellow pave diamond ring that moves him. It’s Kourtney’s favorite type of diamond, and he realizes that Kourtney means everything to him in the world. He decides it’s time to propose.
Back at the penthouse, Kim finds out that gossip columnist Perez Hilton has the story of her date with Kris. Kourtney is dismayed to find out about it that way and chides Kim for being so boy crazy. That night, Kim and her crew hit the town again and she discusses Scott’s imminent proposal. Kim says her life is really so different now from her sisters, and weighs staying in New York, much to the excitement of her friends.
The anniversary date arrives and Scott is really nervous, especially since Kourtney doesn’t seem too much in hurry to get out of bed and get dressed. Scott takes Kourtney to Le Cirque, one of New York’s most upscale restaurants. The couple has a sort of retrospective on the relationship, discussing where they’ve been and how far they’ve come. Scott hints at taking things to the next level, and it becomes clear that Kourtney is not on the same page. Kourtney is happy with the way things are, they are in a good place so why change that she asks him. Scott is devastated and forgoes the proposal.
Scott and Kourtney pack up for their flight home to L.A. Kourtney tells Kim she is glad to be leaving her and her morning ‘fits’behind. By now Kim has decided to stay in New York and enjoy being single, but Kourtney suspects Kris Humphries is the motive. In the car ride to the airport, Scott is feeling very discouraged. Even though they will be moving in to a new home in L.A., Scott can’t help but wonder if Kourtney will wake up one day and decide she doesn’t want to be with him at all. As soon as Scott and Kourtney are out the door, Kim picks up the phone and calls Kris for a date. And for the rest of that story, just follow the tabloids.
Kourtney & Kim Take New York is officially over, but don’t go into Kardashian withdrawal just yet dolls. Next week is the premiere of Khloe & Lamar, April 10 at 10 p.m. (EST) on E! Click here for the latest promo video.

Why do you spend so much time reviewing reality TV? This is complete and utter trash, and most people don't care about it. Why not discuss shows and people that actually have relevance and entertainment value?
