Fans of “Legacies” know about Josie but what most do not know is the person behind the character. Kaylee Bryant plays Jose and those who have had the pleasure of watching “Brooklyn 99” have to admit Kaylee resembles Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero). Kaylee Bryant’s birth name is Kaylee Kaneshiro, which evidences her Japanese ancestry. She was born on November 1, 1997, in Orange County, but most of her family lives in her Hawaii. 1. She and her brother fight a lot
Most people will say that although they fight a lot with their siblings, they love them dearly and would choose them over anyone else. Kaylee does not share this opinion. 2. She used to feign illness to watch cartoons

3. She binge-watched “Vampire Diaries” at 15

At only 15, Kaylee and her mother started watching “Vampire Diaries.” The addictive story sucked them in, and they binge-watched season one to five. After that, they began watching it weekly, savoring every scene as they enjoyed a bowl of popcorn. Before they knew it, they had gone through all the eight seasons, so they went ahead to watch the spin-off “The Originals.” Since “Legacies” in which Kaylee stars as Josie is a spin-off of “The Originals,” Kaylee could not have been more prepared with the storyline.
4. She appreciates coming out stories
Teenagers have feelings that they don’t understand themselves. One day you find your teacher who is twenty years your senior attractive and the next, you can’t stop crushing on your classmate. Kaylee knows that it can be a challenge for people who are afraid to be viewed as weird due to their conflicting stories. Therefore she likes that in her character as Josie, she helps tell the story of a girl who has a girlfriend but still is interested in a boy. In 2014, Kaylee made her movie debut by starring in “Mary Loss of Soul” as Mary Solis. The thriller-horror film is about a 15-year-old girl who came from a loving family. She, alongside two other girls, disappeared from her home but came back without any recollection of the traumatic events she had undergone. The family begins searching for her soul before they run out of time. As for her television debut, Kaylee appeared in “American Horror Story” in 2011 as Zombie Slut.
