We are Jon, from USA, and Ilse, from Mexico. We met working on a Cruise ship and connected straight away, we have traveled around the world for the last, almost 3 years.
We have visited 52 countries and more than 200 cities.
We got married in October 2018.
We love traveling and want to keep on doing in it, so we decided to create this map. We colored the Countries, and States (only in the USA) we’ve been and joined it with a thread to at least one photo (most taken with our Instant polaroid) taken on that place.
This map also motivates us to keep on traveling and keep on coloring those blank spaces. It took us around 8 hours to put it all together, but it was fun remembering all the adventures and stories just by looking at the photos.
We are starting to put our travel Vlog, to hopefully inspire people to travel more, you don’t need to have thousands of dollars to travel, there are affordable ways to do it.
We believe that there is nothing more valuable than the cultural exchange that travel offers, besides all the amazing people you’ll find along the way.
