The celebration included their closest family and friends, with Kramer’s two children, Jolie, 8, and Jace, 5, as well as Russell’s son, Troy, 16, and their son Roman, 8 months, in attendance. “I just knew that I wanted to marry him,” Kramer shared, emphasizing the importance of a traditional wedding for her children.

After engaging in conversations on WhatsApp, they finally met in Nashville around Christmas 2022, where they both felt an instant, undeniable connection. The pair got engaged six months later in front of their new home, after canceling a planned trip to Jamaica due to pregnancy complications, making the moment even more special.

The wedding planning was a team effort, with Kramer taking the lead and Russell praising her organizational skills, saying he was “just hanging onto her coattails for the ride.” The ceremony featured several nods to Scottish traditions, including bagpipes, kilts, haggis pie, and Highland Games activities like caber tossing and stone-throwing, adding a unique touch to the celebration.
Finding the perfect venue was challenging, but Kramer eventually discovered the stunning Carnell Estate on Airbnb. She wanted a setting where everyone could be together, and the estate perfectly fit the bill. For the nuptials, Kramer wore a strapless Pronovias dress with a sweetheart neckline and beautiful lace, complemented by a traditional veil, creating an elegant and timeless look.
Family Involvement and Personal Touches
Kramer’s children played significant roles in the ceremony: Jolie served as the flower girl, Jace took on the role of ring bearer, and Russell’s son Troy acted as an usher. Even their youngest, Roman, wore a kilt, thanks to the vendor MacGregor and MacDuff. The couple wrote their own vows, with Russell choosing to memorize his and Kramer opting to write hers down.
