I finished a book series (so far) and need a new distraction!
#1
I hate to say the obvious answer but the entire harry potter series is just amazing
#2
Harry Potter series
#3
It’s probably considered cliche to say it, but the Lord of the Rings trilogy is still the best fantasy book series I’ve ever read. It’s brilliant
#4
i want to put out two
one that i love: The Land Of Stories,
The one that i JUST finished: Keeper Of The Lost Cities
#5
The Shadowhunter Chronicles
#6
The Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb. Amazing world building and really relatable characters.
The Cosmere series by Brandon Sanderson. A series of books in the same universe (but can be read alone) with very original worlds and great characters.
#7
Alright.
The Aurora Cycle.
Only the first book is out best it’s an excellent book. Well written and it might not belong on this list (it’s this YA sci-fi fantasy thing) it is an amazing book. It does have swearing in it, tho.
#8
I highly suggest the Land of Stories series it’s very well-written and I really enjoyed it.
#9
The Ranger’s Apprentice series
#10
The Land Of Stories or The Sisters Grimm. Two of my favorite book series (if you can’t tell, I love reimagined fairy tales)
#11
Ponniyin Selvan
#12
The wheel of time.
The dark tower.
#13
How to Train your Dragon. Probably for kids in 5th grade, but you could easily read all 12 books in a week.
#14
Death is my bff series
F.A.I.T.H. by joPr
Storm and Silence series
(JUST JOIN WATTPAD)
#15
You could try reading The Hunger Games! You could also try Wings of Fire of Warriors. Oh, also PERCY JACKSON!!
#16
The Stormlight Archive. Just check out Brandon Sanderson in general nearly everything he writes is gold. Try a few, you’ll get hooked on the cosmere.
#17
For YA: The Bartimaeus saga (Jonathan Stroud) and the Artemis books by Eoin Colfer. But really fun and with great characters.
Also Memory Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams. It is a bit cliche (European setting, using a lot of classic tropes) but because of that it feels like you are reading a very old tale. It has great characters and multiple PoVs. He released a new sequel.
#18
Narnia and Harry Potter!
#19
My favorite fantasy/fiction book series are the Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra Series, both by Amish Tripathi, as they are both enjoyable reads!
#20
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS (aka shadowhunters)
100% the best series i’ve ever read
#21
warriors is long and has epic fights
#22
Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony
#23
The green ember, Narnia
#24
I’d have to say that I loved The Hunger Games.
And Janet Evinvoch’s Stephanie Plum series. They are murder mysteries but also hilarious.
#25
The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher
#26
Oh, I’ve got a couple: The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer (sci-if fantasy/fairytale), Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey and all the sequel series (also sci-fi fantasy, but there’s dragons), and pretty much anything by Bryan Davis (dragons, dystopian, fantasy, heaven/hell, Biblical world view but interesting to non-Christians too). And if you just want books in general, try Eva by Peter Dickinson (dystopian, good discussion book but engaging story), Spindle by Shonna Slayton (also reimagined fairytale), and I’ve got tons more but those are some of the best.
#27
The Cubi Series. It’s a mxm series about a huge community of Incubi and Succubi in the modern world
It’s amazing, but it is a bit hard to keep all the information in order
#28
Medoran chronicles by Lynette Noni. 5.5 books could probably smash them out in around a week. Great books. Get kinda sad though.
#29
Keeper of the lost cities! It’s my favorite.
