One of the nicest things about music is that the flexibility for creativity is endless. There’s always a new sound that can be generated and there’s always a new combination of notes that can create a sound that’s magical. People have turned all kind of noises into melodies, beats, and harmonies for years. However, I’m willing to bet you’ve never seen someone take the sounds of a Siamese Cat and create a legitimately solid bass and drum track.
Believe me, I thought this video was pretty ridiculous in the beginning. Some guy is at home shoving a microphone into his cat’s face and hitting record. But then you actually start to see what’s going on here. Using only home equipment he manages to capture a number of cat sounds and turns them into something that even Skrillex would be proud of.
