It’s a very small sample so far, but so far the little amount of reviews available on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 have been very positive. The movie just screened for the media in select cities in preparation for tomorrow’s junket and early reactions have begun to surface online painting a very positive picture. It’s no surprise that James Gunn announced yesterday that he would be back for Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Of all the reactions to the sequel, one of the best things we learned is that there aren’t four post credit scenes, but there are actually five. Gunn confirmed it himself on Twitter.

As it turns out this number of post credit release scenes is a new record for any superhero movie. Post credit scenes have been gaining in popularity. The studios have been smart to add them because let’s face it, everyone leaves during the credits. According to Screenrant
Four of the button tags are mid-credits bonus scenes — and just like Gunn promised, they’re mostly for fun and laughs — and there’s an additional one at the very end too. At least two of the five sort of set up important and cool things for the future so if there’s ever been a time to sit through the credits of a feature in cinemas, this is it. We’ll share details on what they are later, after the embargo lifts
We’re also told that you need to pay close attention to the credits themselves. P.S. Stan Lee’s cameo is supposed to be amazing.
