She was seriously injured, saving the world, and no one knows if she will succumb to her injuries. Missy Peregrym’s character, Agent Bell, and her partner Agent OA worked to stop a dangerous man in the show’s finale. This criminal mastermind was using a deadly gas called sarin to kill his victims, and she fell victim to his crime. She was not dead when the show ended, but she was also non-responsive. Fans were left with a tearful OA holding her hand in the hospital while she was hooked up to every machine. All we have is a glimmer of hope shared by the seriously injured agent when she gives a slight nod. However, some fans are worried that the nod was merely a reflex and not a hopeful situation. After all, the show is back in September of 2022 but is Missy Peregrym leaving the FBI? She is not back on set filming with everyone else.

She was on maternity leave when she gave birth to her first baby, and she’s doing the same with her second. She was written out for a few moments before when her character went off to do a few months of work with a different agency, but she was always meant to come back. The same goes this time around – she’ll be back.

When Does Season Five of FBI Premiere?
The great news for fans of the original FBI series is that the fifth season of the hit show premier date has been released. The show will return on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. It will air at 8 pm on CBS. The series will not see any major new characters or character departures. The entire main cast is returning for the season, though Missy Peregrym will return late. She did not go back to filming during the summer because she’d recently given birth. However, she returns to the set in September, so you’ll likely not see her in the first few episodes of the fifth season.
The FBI spinoff show, FBI: Most Wanted, is facing some major changes. We already saw Julian McMahon’s character die in the middle of season three. This came not long after Kellen Lutz left the show, too. Season four is set to return with a few more major character changes. Miguel Gomez is also leaving the show, and a new agent will return. The show only has two of its original agents left. Currently, season two of the second spinoff series, FBI: International, doesn’t have any major cast announcements.

How is Missy Peregrym After Leaving FBI for Maternity Leave?
She is doing well, thank you for asking. The actress, 40, and her husband, Tom Oakley, are now the proud parents of two little ones. Peregrym gave birth to their daughter on June 6, 2022. The couple named their little girl Mela Josephine Oakley. She welcomed her baby at home, in the water, and called it a profound experience. Their firstborn, Otis, was born in March of 2020. He is the reason she was written off the show for a few months back then, and her daughter is the reason now. The family of four is enjoying their quality time together, adjusting to a new baby and a new sibling.
The adorable family seems to be doing well, and the young actress is happy to have the time to spend with her new baby before going back to work. It’s been a lovely year for her and her family, and things have gone well. She and her family are excited, happy, and simply basking in the glow of their new addition. However, the good news for fans wondering if Missy Peregrym is leaving FBI is that she is not. She’s simply enjoying some much-needed quality time with her babies.
