General Hospital fans want to know why Jason is so noncommittal. He cannot seem to make any decisions regarding things that are going down in his life at this point. He certainly wants to have the life he left so many years ago when he was taken and held against his will while his entire family thought he was dead and then thought he was another man, but it’s not all working out like that for him. He’s having some trouble figuring things out as they are right now, and that’s a problem for him. He might have to make some major decisions soon, but he cannot seem to make them the way he is feeling now. He’s got to get this situation under control, and it’s not working for him.
However, he will remain noncommittal, much to the chagrin of those around him. They want him to make decisions and commit to the situations he’s been presented, but he cannot do it. We all think he’s just waiting on Sam to say the word that she’s missed him and wants him back desperately, but we aren’t sure she will do that or that he will even take that into consideration when he’s making his own life choices. There are things that happen for him that just don’t work out well in any situation. And that’s not good news for anyone. Right now there’s a lot going on that doesn’t seem to work out well for anyone, and he’s not helping.
Jason’s lack of desire to do what others want and expect him to do is a big problem for some people. They want him to do what they all think is right, but he’s not all that interested. He’s spent enough time away to know that these people don’t always need him to do their bidding, and he’s learned how to win when it comes to getting his own way. He’s no longer afraid of that.
