General Hospital Spoilers: Alex and Anna Face Off

General Hospital fans know that Alex and Anna have a long and complicated history. It’s one that’s a little confusing, though. You see, they didn’t originate on this particular soap. They began their career being portrayed by just one actress on the soap “All My Children,” which was cancelled a while ago. They were then moved over to Port Charles by the writers, and now they have a kind-of new history. It’s been a bit back and forth in many ways, but they are both spies. The problem is they are spies that work for different companies. Sometimes they are friendly sisters, other times they are brainwashed sisters, and sometimes we think they are just a happy family before writers decide it’s time to rewrite history and make changes.

This is one of those times. We haven’t seen Alex in a while, but the last time we saw her she was working and living an honest life in another company after being un-brainwashed. It’s strange, we know. But it’s what it is. And now she’s back as a spy for a company that wants her to get her hands on the Chimera Project that Valentin sold. She’s got her sister held hostage in a hospital room, and she was initially unaware her sister has cancer. She’s not trying to hurt Anna, but she’s finally ordered some treatment for her since she learned that she (we mean the real Anna) has cancer. Now things are getting a bit hairy as Anna has managed to sweet-talk a nurse into helping her escape.

Now she’s back in Port Charles, and her daughter has managed to detain her sister before she’s able to flee the country. Things are going to get a bit hairy, but we wonder for how long. Does this mean these two will find a way to continue their feud, or will Alex fill Anna in on what’s going on and elicit her help so they can work together to get what they need? We don’t know exactly, but we do know they are about to come face to face again after many years.
