Sonika Vaid will be performing tonight on American Idol as well as competing with the five other remaining contestants. She’ll also be doing a duet with other surviving singer and crowd favorite Avalon Young. As we get closer to the finale of American Idol it’s obvious that we’ll keep getting to know the contestants more and more. Eventually, the final 2 or 3 are going to be on everyone’s screens for weeks. Their careers will take off, social media profiles rise, and hopefully egos will stay in check with the new found fame.

OK how is this possible? She’s 20 years old! What did she start watching it when she just started talking? I guess the power of DVD and repeats on TBS has shown her that sitcoms from the late 90s and early 2000s ruled.

Only one month ago Sonika has less than 100 followers. That’s what being on American Idol will do to a social media account.
She’s a big Sushi Fan
Sonika tends to take pictures of Sushi and post it on her Twitter account. We don’t know what her favorite roll is yet but it’s clear she likes the fancy rolls.

You wouldn’t think that Gordon Ramsay is a fan of anyone! However, the reality star Chef tweeted “Wow, what a voice” after one of her performances in February.
