You may recognize Hannah Ferrier from her role on the hit reality television series Below Deck: Mediterranean. For those of you who don’t watch the show, she is the Chief Stewardess on a beautiful 150 foot yacht. The show is a spin-off of the parent series Below Deck on Bravo. While Hannah brings a lot to the show with her bright and witty personality, there is a lot about her that fans probably don’t know about. She’s on her way up the popularity chain and the attention is well deserved, but here are five things that you didn’t know about Hannah Ferrier.
1. She was a salesgirl before she was famous
This should hardly come as a shock because Ferrier could sell ice to someone from the North Pole. She’s gorgeous, talented and has a special charisma that would definitely make people want to humor her. If buying a product that she pushed would make her smile, sales were probably up in her department.
2. Hannah pursued her vision for the future
While Ferrier was still trying to make a living in sales, she had an inspiration to travel through Europe. After her vacation, it occurred to her that what she really wanted to do was to start yachting. It’s not easy to come up with the financing for one of the finer vessels, so what better way than to become the star of a reality television show that allowed her to yacht to her heart’s contentment? Hannah became the Chief Stewardess of a 150 foot yacht and all of the pieces fell into place to bring her where she wanted to be in life.
3. Hannah discovered yachting in Australia
Hannah is from Sydney, Australia. It was here that she first started her career working on yachts. This gave her the opportunity to do some international traveling. In addition, it allowed her to pursue her real interests and has resulted in an amazing career doing the thing that she loves.
4. Hannah doesn’t easily back down
We’ve all enjoyed the sketchy relationship that we’ve seen develop between Hannah and Ben Robinson. They do come off as flirty with one another, but their relationship working together on the boat takes a whole other turn. It’s difficult to tell where this one is going to go for either of them. We’ve seen some knock down drag out fights because Hannah simply doesn’t back down. We can tell that Ben loves this and hates it at the same time.
