Fan Made Classic Noir Blade Runner Trailer is a Must See

If there’s one thing that film “purists” love it’s black and white.  When a film is shown in black and white it reminds us of true story telling and less reliance on visual effects.  It also gives a movie a more “classic” look.  It’s why people are so excited about the noir version of Logan that’s been touted and previewed.  Speaking of “noir” I’m not sure if any of you have seen this incredible fan made trailer for Blade Runner, but if you haven’t you need to.

Since Blade Runner 2049 is going to start taking over the internet with more trailers and images soon, it’s inevitable we’re going to constantly be looking at the original for comparisons.  With that said, I have a feeling the view count for this video is going to rise substantially.

Here’s a little something the filmmaker for this trailer wrote:

Just wanted to clarify that this isn’t meant to be a radical re-imagining of the film or a recreation of a 40’s-style trailer. As many have pointed out, Blade Runner is already very “Noir.” I just wanted to take those aspects of the film and accentuate them into something hopefully interesting. The piano song is “Memories of Green” off the soundtrack. All sounds and images in the trailer are from the film or soundtrack.
