Exercise System That Requires You To Pedal To Stream Netflix

One of the biggest problem facing the world today is that people are being given far too much luxury without focusing on necessity. The sedentary lifestyle that is being developed by binge-watching Netflix and even Hulu is starting to become an issue because it is exceedingly simple to push buttons on a remote while you sit and do nothing. What if you had to work for you TV experience? At the very least you would have to work out for nearly five to ten minutes at a time to make sure that you were able to keep watching your favorite programs. It’s an innovation that might take some time to develop, but it’s also one that holds at least a little bit of merit.

Why not work for your luxuries? You certainly have to just to afford them in the first place. This new idea, known as Cycflix, could possibly revolutionize TV viewing for the better. There are a few pros and cons to go over though just to make certain that it’s not being hyped up too much.

PRO’s

1. It can keep viewers fit.

If you have to exercise to keep the program going then a lot of people might find it to be a good idea to install this system along with an exercise bike or, if you want to get ambitious, you can hook it up to a treadmill. This way you have to pedal, walk, or run for a certain amount of time before the program will operate. And just as it says in the video you can set the parameters in order to insure that you are in fact keeping it even and not working yourself too hard for your program.

2. It can cut down on the time you need to visit the gym.

This can give you the needed cardio that you desire and cut down on the time spent at the gym. Granted you might still need to go in for weight training and a few other things, but your cardio can be done at home and with great enjoyment.

CON’s

1. It’s not bound to catch on that quickly.

For single folks this might be great since they don’t have kids, spouses, or anyone else that might want to watch the TV while they’re pedaling. But for families it doesn’t make a lot of sense unless you put the system in a spare room that’s designated just for this purpose. At that point it becomes an extravagance that might not be worth the cost.

2. At the end of the day most people don’t want to work this hard for their pleasure.

If you work outside the home one of the last things you want to do is be active when you get home and sit down to watch TV. Exercising is great, but usually if you want to binge-watch a favorite show you’re not going to look an exercise bike and get excited for the next season of a favored program.

Really, Cyclfix is a good idea and has some merit, but between the fact that it needs some work on the overall system and it’s practical application this idea seems like it needs to go back to the drawing board for a little bit. Good idea, but the delivery thus far is a little sketchy.
