With regards to The Bachelor, it’s pretty obvious that this season has been a lot seedier than most. The show’s level of trash has most certainly stepped it up a notch. However, as of last night some of the garbage was removed from the show. The least liked, but clearly most popular contestant, Corinne Olympios was sent home packing. Immediately after her departure she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and explained to the world she’s not a bad person.
However, Olympios has made no secret that her antics on the show were over dramatized. Do ya think? Still though, it served a purpose, a very obvious one. When you’re on a show like The Bachelor you only have so much time in front of the camera to make an impression. Olympios certainly did that with us. Now the latest news from Corinne is that a bunch of networks are interested in her having her own reality show.
“I think America is interested in me having a reality TV show with my family, my family is awesome, as you all could tell on my hometown date. America totally wants it, I hear it all the time,” she said. “There is a lot of talk about, I’m going to say a lot of networks are interested. Obviously, my loyalty is here with ABC and things like that. So there’s still a lot of stuff to be worked out, but we’ll see what comes in the future.”
I have no doubt that a reality show of hers will air at some point in the future. I happen to think it’ll fizzle pretty quickly but Corinne has shown the world to follow a simple formula. Be the worst person imaginable on camera and things will work out. I think that’s the lesson, right Corinne?
