Young and the Restless fans are always ready to see what’s happening next, but first we have to talk about what already happened. Last week was dramatic. We watched as Victor so coldly took temporary custody of Christian from Nick in the court system. He has no reason to do this to his son other than to spite him. It happens anytime one of his children doesn’t fall into line with what he has to say the moment he has to say it, and it’s always ugly. But we know that things can take a turn at any point, so that’s a good thing. We also know that there is a good chance we will see other things happen and go down, too. But for now, we did see that there is a lot happening for them, and it’s never going to be very good.
We know that Nick has declared war, and things will not get better. Jack has found out something that might help him find out who his real father really is, and we hear that there is a good chance that he might find something else in the coming week. Devon and Hilary are acting like they are the happiest couple that ever lived, totally forgetful of the fact that they divorced one another a while ago and had some very ugly moments in that time. He feels she’s changed, she feels she’s changed, and we wonder if this will work for them. Realistically, we know it will not as she is out. But that doesn’t mean the show won’t just hire someone else to play her role. So that might happen, But we don’t know.

Fans were very vocal online about a few things last week, and we thought we’d share those with fans who may have missed it. It turns out the kids of the show really did make an impact on their fans this weekend as they spoke about their ‘families’ on television. The words that Cane’s kids had to say about him were important to fans, but it was the words Faith had to say about little Christian, Nick, and Victor that tore fans hearts right in half. What she said was spot on, and fans are all about what she thinks, how she feels, and how her words might impact the show.

What’s next is always a fun mystery. Perhaps we will finally see Abby make an informed and wise decision about her own life. Perhaps she will choose to do something smart for once. Perhaps she will not date Arturo, but we hear that things will only heat up for them, so we don’t see that happening. She’s got all the red flags life could possibly throw at her right in her face, yet she’s still making the decision to date him and be with him. She won’t make the right choices, and she will end up walking away hurt — of that we are certain. But we think that she might have some more red flags come her way this week.
We will also see that Sharon will be stunned when she has a conversation with Nikki. They haven’t been getting along very well in the past few weeks, but that’s not a big surprised. However, Sharon is going to feel very shocked when Nikki tells her that she is going to take Victor’s side in terms of custody. The fact that Nikki has already told her husband that terrible things will happen if he continues to steal Christian from Nick and told him that she’s not for him is something that makes us wonder. Is there a chance she is about to find out something we don’t know that will make her change her mind? Is she going to learn something that puts her on Victor’s side all of a sudden, or does he simply have something on her that will force her to take his side in all this stuff?
