If there’s a successful brand that sells millions of products then there’s a 99% chance there will be knock offs of said product. It’s the way of the world. Think about pharmaceuticals. As soon as a patent is expired on a product, what are you seeing that follows? A billion generic versions of said product. Think about Louis Vuitton bags. How many times have you been approached to buy one of these on the street? Or how about fake Rolexes? Put it this way, the world of knock-offs is never going to go away as long as successful original products exists.
However, what you are about to see is an extremely disturbing look at the sordid underground world of one knock-off operation that takes place in China. According to Mashable, this factory is located in the city of Dongguan in south China, and it was raided by authorities several weeks ago. What’s staggering is how much counterfeit beer they were pumping out: a reported 600,000 crates of fake Budweiser every month.
As you’ll notice in the video the conditions are beyond horrible and to add insult to injury workers are using their bare hands. Thank God the operation has ceased but this is just a reminder of what goes on out there.
