Defying Gravity – One Artwork At A Time

Artist Thomas Jackson has created a series of gravity-defying sculptures that truly raise the question: “how are they floating there?”

In the images, man-made objects appear to have a life of their own, with Thomas Jackson constructing the pieces to mimic flocks of birds or swarms of fish.

The artist traveled around the varied landscapes of the Isle of Man inspired by the coastline, glens, groves and moors to create his artworks.

Can you work out how they were made? And, no, it’s not photoshop!
