Days of Our Lives fans are not that surprised that Lani had such a confession to make to Rafe. She’s having so many mixed emotions right now, and she’s not entirely behaving. She’s doing anything and everything she can to spend time with the baby that he is caring for, even though Jordan is his mother. We all know she’s unable to care for this child on her own, but that doesn’t mean he cannot care for the baby either. He’s not in the right place, and he’s not the right man to do this. He has a job and a life and so many other things going on in his life, and this is not something he can do on his own. But, he’s also in a place where he has very little choice in the matter. He’s struggling so much with all the things that have to be done, and all the things that he’s in for.
Nicole, on the other hand, is a totally different person with a totally different attitude for everyone. She’s not in a good place, and we get that. Losing a baby after all she’s been through on top of that is more than enough to send anyone over the edge. But she’s in a place that is especially awful if you take into consideration just how bad it can be for others. She’s got a lot on her plate, and she’s got a lot going on in her mind. She’s in a place where she has to focus on things she cannot control, and that includes things that make Eric feel sad about his life. He’s not someone who is good with others, and he is not someone who can make the world a better place simply by asking her to love him in return.

Things have not been going well for Maggie, and we get that. She’s been in a bad place. She’s had some bad things happen to her. She’s had some things go wrong in her life, and she’s not a happy woman. But, she’s also a woman who has a lot to give, a lot to offer, and a lot on her plate. She’s lost this sweet baby with whom she’s bonded so much. She’s seeing her family struggle and suffer around her, and many things are weighing heavily on her shoulders. But, walking in on her husband when he was having a very close moment with Kate was more than she could deal with. There might not be much more than just ugly business going on with them, but she’s not sure about that. And she’s not sure that this will go her way.
But, there is more to this. She’s been tempted to drink, and it’s not a big secret that she has a problem with alcohol. And now the temptation is too great for her to bear. She cannot handle it anymore, and she might not have much of a moment to make it better. She might not be able to focus on anything other than how her life is going, what it means to her, and how she can get through this. She might not be able to handle it, and we hear she’s going to take that drink, spiral out of control, and everyone is going to have one more problem on their hands.
