Days of Our Lives fans got the big news, and it was a surprising upset. Jack is the new mayor of Salem, and we are all a little worried for this little community. He’s been in a bad place for a long time, and that does not seem to be something that will change in the near future. He has a long road ahead of him considering he has no memories of this place, and he has Eve in his ear. We just aren’t sure that he can handle what is happening in his life, and we aren’t sure that we can figure out what he is up to, what he is doing, and how this will all play out in the meantime. We are just sitting over here wondering if he will mess this up right now, or if it will take him at least a few weeks to make that happen.
He is going to make some big changes right away, we suspect. One of those changes is the fact that Hope is now without a job. She’s been fired, and she is not happy about it. However, she’s not been where she needs to be lately, and things are not going her way. Her entire life is crashing down around her, and she just knows that her soon-to-be ex-husband is about to get the job and take over for her, which only serves to upset her more. But, she has to admit that she’s been spending too much of her time focused on Ben and focused on Ted lately, and neither of those things helped her get to a better place at work. She’s been distracted, upset, and she’s been doing things she should not be doing. She’s not aware of just how much her problems impacted everyone else, but we get it.

So, we don’t know much about what is going on this day right now. All we know for certain is that things are being kept tightly wound, that they are being made very obvious, and that we are going to learn a big secret. But, what will that secret be? There are so many that we need to know the answers to, so we cannot even begin to narrow it down for anyone. We know that some people have some problems we cannot keep up with. We know that other people have to focus on what is good before their bad situations arise. We know that there is a baby without a father, a woman without a job, a man without a wife, a woman who was dead but is not dead, a baby who just died, people who are blaming others.
There is a lot going on, so this secret will end up being a big one, and we cannot wait. The great news is that we do think that we will learn what it is before the weekend, too. We are not sure that we can go about our lives wondering and waiting on things to happen, but this is probably not one of those times fans will be sent into the weekend without answers or with a major cliffhanger to worry about. This is one of those times when you will learn, it will make sense, and people will finally have to take responsibility for their actions in some manner prior to the start of a weekend of wondering.
