Days of Our Lives fans know that everyone is in Memphis right now looking for a way to prove the Will is alive and well and really in the world to be with them. But that isn’t good news for Paul. While he certainly isn’t cruel enough to hope that the man is dead so he doesn’t have to worry about this, he is also very wise and knows that if Will is alive it might mean the end of his own marriage that just occurred.
He knows that Sonny loved his husband very much, even though they were in the process of ending their marriage when Ben killed Will. But what happens if he is really alive and things change for himself and his new husband? Will Sonny begin to see that he still loves his ex, and will turn Paul into a broken man? Or will Paul begin to get jealous and drive his husband back to his ex if he really is alive?
We don’t know which way this will go, but we do know there is a chance that it might not go the way that it’s been going over the course of the past few years. It’s not a situation Paul saw coming when he married his husband, but it’s here and it’s happening, and they have a situation to handle. Will he handle it well, or will he end up hurting his own marriage in the process? We don’t know how this will go.
