Days of Our Lives fans are going to be shocked when Kayla tells Tripp she did kill Ava. She is going to do this not because it’s true — because it’s not — but because she is a mother who will do anything to protect her own son. She has no problem doing whatever it takes to ensure her son gets to live his life and doesn’t get in trouble for what he did. She’s going to lie to her stepson without hesitation. She knows he needs to hear that she did it so that he can come to terms with it, so she’s going to do it.
And now there is a big problem to handle. She’s going to have to figure out what he might do now that she’s confessed. Will he kill her? Will he let her go? Will he turn her in and hope she pays for what he believes she did to his mother? We don’t know, but we do know she is going to straight up lie to him — and we have a feeling it’s still going to come out that Joey did it.
He did, and he’s been hiding it for a long time. But what happens when people find out about this? Will they take him to trial? Will the police be involved? Will Tripp find out and turn in his new brother? He’s not someone who always makes a lot of sense, but there is a chance he might end up in trouble for this even after being in the clear for so long.
