Days of Our Lives fans wonder if Lani has anything to do with what is going on in the courtroom during Gabi’s upcoming trial. We hear she is the person who will stand up and make a confession, and we think she might be doing herself some injustice to do something nice for Gabi. We know Gabi didn’t do it, but the evidence all suggests she did. We know she’s going to confront Lani soon enough this week about cheating on JJ and getting pregnant with her own boyfriend and then lying to everyone about it.
And we just have to wonder if there is something we should consider. Is there a chance that Lani will say she didn’t get something done correctly during the arrest she made when she took Gabi into custody as a favor to her? She’s got to make it up to her for sleeping with her boyfriend and ruining her life and JJ’s, and she’s got a lot of guilt.
Might she add to it and punish herself for this if she feels that she owes something to Gabi, or is this Gabi’s way of blackmailing her into keeping her secret from JJ? Because we know that Lani doesn’t want JJ to know this at all — and he can’t handle it emotionally. We might suspect a bit of injustice here, but we also suspect that Lani put herself into a situation she feels she cannot control, and it might be a big problem for her.
